Jamie Chisholm is the Director of Sales at the Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk and has worked for over 20 years in the event planning industry. Her ability to connect with her clients and learn about their lives helps her to plan amazing, highly personalized events. It is Jaime’s attention to detail and hands-on approach to each and every event that will make your special day a once-in-a-lifetime experience by the sea. When she’s not planning the next event – Jaime enjoys spending time with her family and dogs on the beautiful island we call home.

Miha Slegel is the Sales Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk and has planned over 1000 weddings and events! She loves that her event planning career has given her the opportunity to meet so many amazing, inspiring people. She excels at building relationships with her clients, understanding their event ideas, and bringing their unique, creative vision to life. She reminds us that “No task is too big or too small and every detail counts.” Miha also enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures and places, but most of all spending time with her family.

Peggy Shen, is the newest Sales and Events Coordinator at the Hilton Garden Inn. She loves working in the hospitality and event planning industry. Wedding event clients will find it easy to talk with, and relate to Peggy, as she is recently engaged and is planning her own Kitty Hawk Pier House wedding this Spring! Let Peggy share her personal tips and professional experience to help you impress your guests, plan the perfect day, and make some beautiful memories! Peggy likes to travel, find new adventures, and has enjoyed living in the Outer Banks for the last 5 years.

Jeremy Miller

GENERAL MANAGER

Jeremy Miller is the General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk. From a young age, Jeremy knew that he wanted to be a part of the hospitality industry and worked in country clubs and restaurants continuously from the time that he was 12 through high school. After high school, Jeremy attended the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned a degree in Hospitality Management. While working under the leadership of local hotelier and developer, the late Sterling Webster III, at the Ramada, Jeremy was brought in to assist with the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn in 2006, and later became the General Manager in 2008. Jeremy enjoys sharing incredible Outer Banks experiences with guests, team members, and locals. An active member of our community, Jeremy also enjoys volunteering on the board of North Banks Rotary Club and the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association.

Lou Hunt

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Lou Hunt is the Executive Chef at Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks/Kitty Hawk. Lou has over 20 years experience cooking and serving local seafood, steaks, and pasta dishes to hungry patrons of the Outer Banks. He credits three strong, southern women for inspiring his love of cooking… having a great-grandmother from Alabama that would work her magic with traditional low country dishes, a grandmother from North Carolina with a love of the fresh, local ingredients, and a mother with a passion for international cuisine and a curiosity to experiment. These mentors, and their love of cooking, as well as his own experiences living and cooking in California, Florida, Alabama, Washington State, North Carolina and Germany have all helped to flavor the cuisine of our multitalented chef. When he’s not busy creating delicious meals and memorable experiences for our guests, he can be found with his wife and daughter enjoying the beautiful, Outer Banks beaches, or shooting hoops (and making a few) at the local gym.
